Graduating seniors begin preparing for their senior needs the beginning of the school year. We will need sponsors for caps and gowns, yearbooks and other special requests. Many of the young people participate in sports, drama, music and other activities, and we’d love to have the yearbooks for them so they may have these memories for years to come. You may send a check to our P.O. Box or pay by PayPal. We greatly appreciate your help.
We received more requests this year than ever before us. This assistance is greatly needed and monetary donations will help us place the orders for these items.
This is an important year for a high school student and we hope that we can help these young people participate with senior activities and have lasting memories as their fellow students will have.
If any of you would like to help out with any of these items by sponsoring a senior, please contact Angels’ Closet.

Angels’ Closet is a 501(c) (3) organization that relies solely upon the generosity of the community. We provide new and gently used clothing to students not only because it’s a necessity, but because it helps financially challenged students feel a sense of normalcy and belonging when they’re able to participate in memorable high school and middle school activities such as homecoming, prom, senior graduation and other school social events. The end result is enhanced morale and self-worth.
• We are in need of stylish boys’ and girls’ jeans. All sizes are welcome: size 0 to 20 in women’s; size 27 to 46 in men’s. The kids really like the skinny jeans or the straight-leg jean. Middle school students sizes 10-12 through 18-20.
• We are also in need of shoes for boys and girls as we strive to provide each student with a new pair of shoes. If you could see what some of these kids are wearing — duct tape holding shoes together, gaping holes in the soles or toes peeking out — it would break your heart. Women sizes 5-11; Men’s sizes 6-15; Middle School Girls 3-5; Boys 3-6.
• The winter months will soon be here and we must be prepared. Hoodies, sweaters, scarves, and mittens are needed.
• We are always in need of toiletries. The boys love AXE products and the girls Bath and Body Works — it’s so much fun to watch their faces when they receive these items. Oftentimes, families only have enough money for food, so having deodorant, toothpaste and toiletries is a luxury.

Tara Jolene Conley was a 7-year resident of Redlands who attended Redlands High School. She was on the cheerleading squad and competed on the track team, running on the relay team that set a 4x100 school record. Tara also was a multi-year cast member of the YMCA All-American Youth Circus and she volunteered at the Loma Linda University Medical Center Children’s Hospital.
On April 2, 2011 at the age of 21, Tara was called home to her heavenly Father. With her family and friends wishing to carry on her caring nature and passion of giving, many donations have been made to Angels’ Closet in Tara’s memory.
